My Gus was neutered when he was almost seven months old. I did it early because I did not want him to start marking. I wanted to put a stop to it before it even began. He's now a year and 3 months and he started making his mark about 3 months ago. He wont do it in the house He's never peed on someone or another dog just on trees, polls and grass. The new thing he started is scratching the grass after making his mark. I've seen him do that a few times after going poo but it was a few scratches and he was done. But after making his mark, he will scratch all around his mark. I just realized that he started doing this after his accident. As if to say "I'll show you,, You big stupid dog." I have never owned a male small dog before,,,, Is that normal?
