 Trying my best not to panic....
I took my 4 year old yorkie Lulu to her veterinarian for a cough. We have suspected that she had a slightly collapsing trachea for some time, however it was very mild and only affected her once or twice a year. The vet asked if I was ok with her doing a chest xray as a precaution. They were gone for a long time and when she came back into the room with Lulu she said she had an enlarged heart. The next day she had an EKG which came back normal and this Friday she is scheduled to have an echocardiogram and full blood work. Has anyone else had this scare or similar situation? I am trying not to panic... |
