Hi Everyone,
SOrry this is going to be short. I am sick and can bearly sit at the computer my head hurts so much. I think it is the working a month and a half straight and trying to be there for becca with mikey. But hopefully if i take care of myself it i will feel better quickly. Becca emailed everyone this morning while i was at work. SO i will post her email. It is good news, Mikey might not need surgery on Friday. yahoo. those candles and prayers work so well. Thank you all so very much. I will keep you all updated.

hi everyone. i found out this morning that mikey may not need that extra surgery. they found his ventricles are still a little more enlarged then normal, but again, thats because the extra fluid on the side of his head is gone. once the ventricles start to decrease, the brain will expand and fill any void. his sutures and his soft spot are back to normal and his HC is down again. they are keeping a watchful eye on him though, just in case. his eating is still where I think it should be. he is eating between 55 to 65 cc's a feeding and they still feel that isnt enough. so instead of the tube (thank you!) they are fortifiying my breast milk and giving him formula that has 24 calories instead of 20 to see if that will help! it might be all he needs. they also do believe that he does have acid reflux and he will be medicated for that as well. i will update later! gotta run to the store and then get back to mikey!
