Loki got chipped when he got neutered. Sammy wasn't scheduled to get spayed for a month or two after we got her so they chipped her right in the office. She yelped, but then she was OK. The chip is about the size of a grain of rice and mine have never had any issues with them.
I can't imagine tatooing would be that painless. |
