Rushed to the emergency vet of course, xrays, they put it back in, it's all wrapped up in the Ehmer Sling again, back to her regular vet again on Monday, whom I am sure is going to recommend surgery. My poor little girl, and she was doing sooooo good, you would have never known she was injured. Please keep Miss Carley-Bear in your thoughts again
I had a Pom (she passed away 2 yrs ago) - she was only 3 1/2 lbs.
Well - when she was 1 yr old she jumped off the Sofa one day & her back right leg came out of socket.
She had to have surgery - she had under developed Hip Sockets.
The Vet had to take some bone from another part of her body to form the hip sockets correctly.
Needlees to say, She never jumped off of anything again - she learned her lesson.
She was fine untill she reached about 6 yrs old - arthritist in her legs - she was on meds every day - it helped a bit.
At 8 yrs old she could not walk properly - just dragging that right leg.
For the last year of her life she could not walk at all.
she passed away at only 10 yrs old. I Miss My Sweet Lil' Rakki.
