Have any of you ever had a yorkie and a cat fighting over dominance? Siris is my 9 year old male neutered cat. He's pretty lazy and easy going. He and Lexie play pretty well most times.
Every now and then, though (more and more often lately) Lexie gets a wild hair and decides she's the queen. She ends up barking and growling at him. He 9 times out of 10 hisses and runs to hide on the barstool. He pretty much avoids arguments but Lexie is so incredibly persistent. She has barked and growled at him, like she's calling him out, for up to 30 min.
I'm scared they're going to end up in a real fight and somebody is going to get hurt. I need advice from you ladies and gentleman.
