Also, a groomer told me to use Baby shampoo on their face; still try not to get the soap in their eyes, but if you do, at least it doesn't burn their eyes. I've been doing that for a long time and it seems to work. Max's hair is kept short though.
i used a baby toothbrush and some baby shampoo and it worked GREAT. I will try the rubber finger toothbrush next time, might be more gentle .
