Once I had one of my girls jump from the bed, yelp and would NOT apply pressure on her leg at all.
I waited until the second day to take her because when I pressed and moved her leg she didnt show pain but still didnt apply pressure.
I took her in, they did an xray and it showed nothing. The next day she started to apply a little pressure in a week it was like nothing happened. She had pulled a tendon.
I would press gently on her paw and move her leg a little and see how she reacts. If she is in pain I would take her in if she were mine but if she does show any pain, I would give it a day.
