Nope, I do not handle snakes well!! Misty I am glad your daughter didn't get bit!
Couple years ago hubby and I were working on a chicken pen and we were inside the building part. The pen was about 50 yards from our house. I heard a noise on the roof and asked what was that? hubby said prolly a tree branch. Well I looked up and this snake was hanging down from the roof eye level with my hubby!! I didn't even stop to see if my hubby was going to get bit I was gone sooo fast...I mean, I was on our back porch and my hubby hadn't come out of the coop yet...finally he steps out and said what are you doing? I said "Runnin!"
