But you can see the standard that countries outside of USA use on the website for
The FCI (www.fci.be) (The Yorkie is in group 3 there, Terriers)
The contry of origin for every breed can decide each breeds standard and the other countries must follow that standard.
I think that it is only the USA that has sometimes diffirent standard, but many times/some times it has the same standard as FCI.
But FCI recognises pedigrees from AKC.

Here you can see the quote from the Yorkie standard (outside usa):

What does it say in the ACK standard for the Yorkie about the tail?
