I heard that too but obviously we can't say that ALL amish people run puppymills. My brother got his boxer from amish people (before I had heard all of the rumors) and he never said anything about an over abundance of dogs, breeds of dogs, cages, etc. There were only boxers on site. I wasn't there, however, so I can't judge if his boxer was from a puppy mill. He didn't seem like he was from a mill, though--he was/is a very social dog, did not spend his days in a cage, and is and always has been very healthy.
