I don't have any advice re: meds, but I'm sure someone on here knows what to do. My dog does what I've heard described as a reverse sneeze. Sometimes she goes on for what seems like forever to me but I'm sure it's just a few seconds. I've heard that maybe they have mucous in their throat and instead of sneezing it out they kind of suck air back in...does that make sense? I'm pretty new here so I did a search for reverse sneeze when she did it the first time, I saw a post a while back that actually had a video attached & a link to other videos so you could hear what it sounded like. If it's the reverse sneeze you won't need to worry. Hope it's something like this instead of a cold. Poor baby. Sugar stops when I hold her and rub her throat & just love on her. Sometimes it's triggered by her getting excited. Good luck. I hope she's better soon if it is a cold.
