thanks for the info. i will start to give her garlic...i have heard this before too. i had a groomer once tell me she washed dogs in dawn...i thought it was INSANE. but i guess this must be why. i have read over and over again (by doing a search on here for "fleas") that dawn kills them. i had no idea.
well, i washed maggie in dawn last night after putting the stuff on her and realizing it was BAD. i rinsed her extremely well and then put lots of conditioner on her. she is itching like crazy this morning. I will rinse her again really well and put some natural conditioner on her to see if that helps any. maybe it is the leave-in stuff that is itching her. it has never bothered her before but maybe a combo of all of the stuff was just too much. poor baby.
i hate fleas. they are so annoying!!!!!!!!!! but it seems impossible to avoid. i have only dealt with them once before and i swore i would never do it again. but here i am...i just itch at the thought of it.
