Wow, I haven't heard about typhoons in a long time. I lived in Okinawa for 4 years as a child and remember typhoons coming in. Of course, as a child, all they meant to me was a new coloring book and/or a game since me and my 2 sisters had to be "stuck inside" for a period of time! My mom stood on our enclosed porch once during one of them and took 8mm film. I hope it dies down before it hits where you are.
