You might try it for a weekend and just see how your yorkie reacts. You might be presently surprised at how she'll treat the cocker. They know, by instinct, when an animal is infirm. Who knows, the pup might be a good influence on the older one. It sure would be worth giving it a shot. At that age, she deserves to be well cared for. If you really can't do it, you'd be doing her more of a favor to find a home for her where she would continue to be spoiled rotten.
