Hi , I'm new to the forum and a first time yorkie owner. I have a 4 1/2 month old pup named brewsky and he is being crate trained. I try to keep him on a schedule and he understands my command and that he is supposed to go outside, but after he goes outside, 5 or 10 minutes later, he pees inside right in front of me. Everything I read says he can hold it 2-4 hours easily, but he seems to be a peeing machine! What am I doing wrong that he isn't getting it?I've had him checked out by the vet and all is well and normal. He just seems to pee in the house all the time, right after he's had plenty of opportunity to pee successfully outside.
I never had this problem housetraining my bigger dogs.
