I know VS bras are like $40, but I can usually find a $5 off coupon or I wait until they are on sale. They don't really lose their shape and they wash up well even if I forget to hang them up and I dry them. I have had them last several years. Also, unless you are really active (and sweaty) you can usually wear them a couple of times before washing them. All of my bras are VS and I have only bought 1 new bra this year because they really do last forever. I just get basics (white, black, nude) so I just have a couple of each color. I'm not one to need 10 colors to match everything, which is what those catalogs make you think you should do!
