I recently purchased a maltese puppy as some of you may know.. i have been researching and wanting a puppy for years.. he is 12 weeks old and less than 2 pounds.. from a champion blood line.. i paid $2500 for him and he was worth every penny.. 2 days after i brought him home my father had a heart attack and now he needs a heart transplant (i live with my father).. he is the provider of money so now we are stuck because he can not work and because they will turn his immune system off he can not have any pets near him.. i am also scared that since i will be in the hospital alot i will not be able to give the puppy the attention it deserves.. this is a horrible situation and i dont know what to do.. the place i bought him from made me sign contracts that unless he is sick i can not return him.. and i cant give him to a shelter because i do not have the heart to and i cant afford to lose all that money at a time like this.. if anyone has any ideas please i would greatly appreciate it.
