Archie has a lot of little quirks that I love; here are just a few:
1. He sleeps in his crate most of the night, but usually gets in the bed with me at some time in the late morning. When he's ready to get in bed with mommy, he makes this little demanding, "urrrrrrrr urrrrrrr ..." sound until I let him out.
2. When he's sleepy, he jumps up high on my shoulder and lays down for a snooze.
3. When I'm on the phone, he "performs" the whole time, playing with his toys, pulling back the area rug, attacking his blanket -- and if that doesn't get me off the phone he bites my toes until I hang up!
4. When he gets in bed with me, he has to be under the covers and some part of his body, if only one paw, has to be touching me at all times.
5. He does not kiss, like so many other Yorkies, but he is the world's biggest snuggle bug, always wedinging himself between me and the chair arm or perching on my shoulder or leaying on my feet as he plays with a toy.
6. Right before bedtime, he will begin sucking on his blanket like a baby -- that's my que that it's time to call it a day.
