Heather, I'm not so sure about how much mess I want. The problem is that I work everyday from 9 to 6 (like everybody?). Is it possible to train her only before and after work? Should I keep her in a cage while I'm out, at least in the beginning? I know I need to be consistent, even tough I feel bad. So far (it's been only 4 days with her), I haven't punished her for peeing in the wrong place only because she hasn't arrived in what will be her final home. After she arrives home, what is the right way of punishing and rewarding her? |
