I've used a couple of things, but not Benadryl. It's interesting that your vet recommends it though, b/c I think we need something a little stronger. I'm going to purchase the Calm Moments first though and try it out.
Can I make just one suggestion to you though? Whatever you are going to use, try it out at HOME first. That way, if your baby has any untoward effects (and you never know...Max started hallucinating when I gave him Nature's Remedy), at least you're at home, near your own vet just in case! Plus, you'll know if it at least helps. If it doesn't do anything while the dog's at home, it sure isn't going to do anything in the car. On the other hand, you never know if it will work in the car til you take them in it. But still, I'd want the first dose to be on home ground, where if anything happens, I'm not out on I-5 with a sick dog!
