Cali is going to have to stay at the vet probably all weekend.

She was having A LOT of trouble breathing last night but seems to be doing a little bit better today. The doctors are taking EVERY precaution with her because of her small size. They have to be extra careful with medication (not to give her too much). All the nurses were loving on her and kissing her when I left this morning. I stayed there all night, went home around 6 a.m. to shower and now I'm at work. I'm so tired. I had to come to work to help my boss with a rush brief but I'm only working until 12:30 and then my boss is sending me home in a car (he's such a sweetie). I'm going home to finally get some sleep because I'm half dead on my feet right now and Jim is going to stay with Cali until I return (we're taking shifts). She gets VERY upset when one of us leaves the room, so that's why we're taking shifts to be with her. Jim keeps calling and giving me updates.
The doctors were saying that they're going to take good care of her and they know how special she is. She really made a special impression with everyone there, they just adore her. Last night I was really upset (REALLY upset). The doctor said to me Jen watch this and he turned Cali over onto her back and held her there for a few seconds while she struggled against his hand to turn over and get comfortable again. Then he said you see, she's a fighter. She isn't giving up and neither should you. Seeing her fight like that gave me some hope. She still has her spunk left. So I'm going to be more positive when I go see her later on this afternoon.
Thank you all for your YT prayers!! You guys are awesome and I thank you all for the phone calls and e-mails. This is the one place I can turn to where everyone will truly understand what I'm going through. THANK YOU! And please keep praying for my baby girl and also for Codie and Tia; they're devestated without her and they don't know what's going on or where she is.
