I think it would be a better idea to suprise your husband with the idea that you would like to get a yorkie for his birthday. Make sure he really wants a puppy and knows what to expect with one. A puppy should be something that has been very much thought about before bringing one into your home. Research the breed together, look for breeders together, and go together to pick out your new baby. That way your husband can be apart of the experience. I'd hate to see you surprise you husband with a puppy he'd rather not have, or even if he does want one - he may be looking for a certain gender, personality, look, etc.
