Marcris yorkies has or had a set up in her backyard, but this was in the 80's. It was heated and had AC, of course being in Florida. She also had her favorites and puppies with mom in her house so she could hear them. I don't know if I could have them so far away or so many, but that is just me and not saying it is wrong. Just my preference. Besides Charolette hates the sound of thunder and stays right next to me during storms. I think she just hears better than us and she hates the loud sound of thunder.
Any female below 5 pounds is just way to small to breed. I have seen or heard of others sad stories doing this. I agree with Slyvan!
