I agree. I think it's really nice that she at least came to you before giving your name to the police. Now-a-days, most people wouldn't go through the effort of doing that.

I'm sorry, but I'm a little sympathetic for your neighbor. There is nothing worst than dog's barking- especially if you aren't a dog person. I don't think she would be trash-talked just because she doesn't want to her dog's barking while she is in her own home.
