Do yo need an agent? Hey, that is such fun! I practiced entertainment law and represented several talent agencies as well as talent when we lived in Sacramento. Most of the work was out of San Francisco but I had to travel to LA a couple times a month for auditions with kids.
My whole family with the exception of me are Screen Actors Guild Members and, for those in the business, I am a "must join", having done one national Toyota commercial. All my kids made enough to have a nice chunk of their college bill paid!
I had actually thought about being an animal agent because of my interest in training. This is exciting. I have no idea what it pays for dogs. My son once did a commercial with a golden and they put baby food on his cheek so the dog would lick him!!
He did another one where the dog had to come up and steal his hot dog! It was interesting to watch the trainers with the dogs. They were very protective of them.
Let us know how it goes at the audition and of course you have to post a copy of the local magazine cover!! |
