If I lived in CA I would definatley be posting fliers.
There was someone a few months back that came running down the street asking if we had seen a yorkie. It had escaped from PetSmart, which is very near to our house and had been running through the neighborhood. He caught up with him in someone's yard and just couldn't quite grab him when the dog took off
He was a brand new puppy to the family and didn't know his name. He was scared and that's why he ran when his owner tried to grab him. I went around the area several times hoping I'd see him, but no such luck. I then saw fliers posted and I still wonder today if they ever found their baby back. He was just a puppy and couldn't make it long without water or food. Poor little guy, I still think about it once in a while.
I sure hope Zeke finds his way home
