You are not alone. I have worked with hundreds of couples in the same situation. There is so much pain. I work in Nebraska for an adoption agency, and I see so many couples who deal with infertility. Some have an explanation, and others do not. I hope that you find peace in whatever happens. People who do not understand infertility say some very hurtful things, and often it is your family and friends who really only want to see you happy.
