I guess if you haven't lived here, it does sound a little bizarre. But almost everyone golfs and I think the majority of homes here have a golf cart garage whether you've got a golf cart or not. They actually have golf cart lanes on a lot of the streets here, and I used to drive ours to the grocery store about a mile away. With the gas prices now, it would come in really handy! Thank goodness we sold ours before we moved here though, or we'd have no room for it now, and I think (compliments of our newest next door neighbors) that there's enough marginal and surplus vehicles on the street

Our HOA was great too; our cable, garbage, and housepainting every two years was included and it was only ...well, I forget, but it wasnt' very much.... $120 I think. And Kathryn, thank goodness the club house didn't do takeout; we'd still be in hoc to them, as I would have FAR exceeded the congressional, LOL. That's just WAY too temptiing!
