We are currently stationed in VA (Yorktown, but we lived in NN). I am at home in SC right now since he had to go to Afghanistan for a year long deployment. He should be home in Oct and then we will most likey be moving to VA again for about 8 months or so...then he is planning on taking a school in San Diego.
I am feeling better this afternoon. I am going to call around tomorrow and see what I can find out. We only lived on base housing once bc our apt had problems. We usually just rent out in town. Isn't there a waiting list for the housing? And what do you do until you get a house? Also, I think his school is only 6 months long...so he is approved to bring along family but I don't know if he would be approved for housing?
