Val (PassionFruition) did this last year, if my memory serves me. My Daughter did the same thing a couple years ago. My own hair grows so incredibly slowly that I would have to grow and grow and grow for years to get 10 inches to cut off!!!!! And, I know they prefer "virgin" hair that is not chemically altered. Since I get colored every 4-6 weeks - that leaves me out!!!
