Well, there were 2 standard poodles being groomed as well. this lady started to lower the table with a poodle on it and the dog fell!!! still in the collar that hangs down to hold the dogs. I felt so horrible for the poor dog. it fell off the table, hit the lower part of the table with it's hip, and then to the floor. it pulled the arm down with it so the dog was not choking but it scared the daylights out of me. I felt horrible. i am sure this is more common than i care to know but it was very sad for me to see it. i'm glad i groom my dogs myself. they may not look the best...but they look fine. and i know how they are treated and what goes on.

I'm trying to get myself ready to bring Baxter to be groomed - I'm having such a tough time - and now with this thread - I think we'll try grooming him ourselves. I just don't want to leave him there with strangers for hours. Maybe I can take a dog grooming class - I'll have to look into that.
