My baby is around 4 lbs and in the "SUPER" size he has plenty of room in it The bags come in Tiny, Small, & Super (If my memory serves me correctly) I think you would do great with the Small and if you was going to use it on the a plane ride you would do better with getting the Small because not all airlines aprove the Super size one
