As some of you know, my Cali has been sick off and on with a cold. She just can't seem to shake it.
She has been sneezing and sniffling for weeks. We've been to the vet about twice a week for the past month and it's cost us over $600 for a COLD!! Well Jim just went home for an early lunch break to check on her and he called me and said she seems really distressed; so he took her to the vet. The vet admitted her. He said her cold has turned to pneumonia!!!
Guys, please help!! She's been taking all her meds regularly and I'm just at a total loss!! Why is this happening? I don't understand!!
She's been taking her meds like clock work and I've been doing EVERYTHING the vet has told me to do. I even took her to another vet just to be sure and he said the meds she is taking should clear up her cold. Now my poor baby is even more sick and she may have to stay at the hospital for a few days.
I'm such a nervous wreck and I don't know what to do!!
Please please ANY ADVICE at all would be greatly appreciated!! I'm so scared for her. She's lost weight. She use to weigh 1 lb and 3 oz and now she is 1 lb and 1 oz. That may not seem like a lot but for a dog Cali's size, trust me it's a lot. I'm freaking out over here.
I just can't lose another baby.
