My neighbourhood is not particularly dog friendly. It's really difficult to find other small dogs (or even large ones) to socialize my yorkie with when I'm on walks. On top of that, there's a man in my area that likes to walk his pit bull off leash
....and b/c I live near a golf course, there are coyotes in my area
So, if I want to take Tobi on an extended safe and loooong walk where he can run and play with dogs his size, I have to take him over to my bf's place or to the beach..both of which are a drive away
