I know exactally what you talking about. I have been through that with
Buddy. It is scary for sure and Buddy weighs 15lbs. He did bite me once and I thought something was very wrong with him.
I did some research and found that I was not alpha with him. He did not respect me. This is very true because I babied him to death. Well I sure changed things around. He went from guarding his food, his toys and even MY bed
to this passive wonderful loving pet finally. You must become Alpha or you
will never change things. Get Cecear Millan's CD's regarding this. It will help you understand what goes on in that little one's head.
Today if Buddy does something wrong I say his name sharply, he stops and comes running to me jumping up to be picked up and loved. Totally different dog. These little ones can become very aggressive if you do not step in and become their leader.
