I understand why you don't feel like you can just skip this trip, because I know the reason for you going. However, I would be VERY nervous about having my fur kids around her house and/or dogs right now. I know that you want to be a good friend and that you are going to be supportive but is there anyone at all that could watch your dogs while you are gone??
