Since you're traveling in 2 weeks, use the time before the trip to let Buster get used to the carrier. Have the carrier built and available for exploration by Buster. If he won't even go in on his own, put a comfy towel in there and encourage him to go in by putting treats in there. Then let him come and go in it as he wants. The more he sees and gets used to it, the less traumatic it will be for him.

My Eury uses her carrier as her sleep area in her x-pen. So she loves it and when we go on trips knows that her carrier is a good place not a scary one. I hope this helps. Good luck!
