No, she is not a freak! She's your special furbaby. In the UK they do not crop and feel it's inhumane. Even in the US it's discussed more and more about whether tails should be cropped in some breeds. I like Yorkie's tails. I'm sure you'll hear from people who feel both ways. I'm not very knowledgable about tails. I just know they usually get cropped. Maybe someone else can shed some light on the practice.
My mix has a stub, but she has lots of hair that grows on the end so it looks like she has a little plume-tail. It's cute. I cut her a tail hole in her little onsies so the plume shows and can wave when she wags her stump.
