I like the show a lot. I have to agree that him using the neck collar didn't set right. One of the first things that I learned was that yorkies (toy dogs) have delicate tracheas. Why would you want to do anything that would up the odds of injury? It was great that he respected the owner and used the harness instead. Other than that, I thought the episode was informative.
