Two is such a small limit! Here it is 4 dogs/cats per household which i think is retarded (one of the reasons I don't register my pets). I know here you can apply for a kennel permit and its easy to get. I think they just check out where the dogs live and make sure they have proper food and water and all and you pay a fee for the liscense. I think AC needs to stop worrying about those that have a couple extra dogs and start looking at those that aren't even taking care of the ONE they have properly. I'm sure there are ways to get around the law... Maybe you can talk to that neighbor and tell her how important your dogs are and how they are a big part of your family. Tell her you are working on the barking starting immediately and to please give you some time to work on it. I agree that I would move before rehoming them. I hope it works out for you. I'm sorry you're having to go through this. Some laws are so retarded! It just pisses me off that they worry so much about things like this when there are dogs dying from neglect every day. Why don't they put a little more effort into seizing those dogs and saving them than take away cared-for dogs?
