Yep........both of mine get the three year rabies shot now. Also depends on the county you live in. The county I moved from had the three yr., the county my vet operates out of (we are 1/4 mile into the next county) only recognizes the one yr. shot but my county accepts the three year but only for the last two years. So I get their three year rabies shot from a clinic.
I think this was a lot more information than you were looking for......but I think whether you get a one yr or three yr depends on your particular county/state laws.
