This is not something he will stop doing on his own, it is just something you need to teach him.

You got him when he was still fairly young (9 weeks?) and during the time period when he would normally learn socialization skills like biting and submissiveness from his mother and littermates. By playing with the others, a puppy learns about bite inhibition. This is something that you are going to need to teach her. When he bites too hard, let out a loud and high pitched YIP noise like a puppy would and jerk you're hand away like you're hurt. Then give him back your hand. He should lick it to say that he is sorry for hurting you. If he bites too hard again, then remove your hand and walk away. You're going to feel silly but this really works and you should see a big difference in a day or two.
