I think it's really a great thing that all these posters continue to go up about Zeke. It makes me wonder if whomever has him has seen one of them?? And if he/she has, how do they go home and sleep at night knowing the torment they are causing. How do they look at that sweet little face and want to keep him away from his true family?
I still hold onto the hope that eventually they will have to take Zeke to a vet. When Zeke is scanned for his microchip, Maureen's information will be displayed, and will not correspond with that of the "new owner". I do know that the Vet is then obligated to contact the individual that is listed as the owner.
Every day, I still look at the shelter lists for missing yorkies. I have an email alert set with Petfinder.
Hugs to you all,
Lauren
I don't think that all vets even have a scanner or use it if they do. I know mine doesnt have one and not all scanners can read each others microchips because there are different types. Do you have to have a special permit to cross the border with a dog or do they just let any pets cross over with no questions asked if a little green crosses their palm?
