When we were in China 3 1/2 years ago, for the adoption of our daughter, we saw dogs along the road for sale. We knew what they were selling them for.
One day we were traveling on a bus and another bus pulled up beside us and in that bus was a woman holding a bag with a "live" chicken in it, all you could see of the chicken was the head & it was looking around. When we asked our facilitator about it she said "We like our food fresh.
" We also visited a Wal-mart while we were there & some of the animals in the food departments were quite unusual and thankfully we will never see that here at home.
I can safely say all the food we ate was fantastic & it is NOT anything like the Chinese food we eat her.
I am very glad to hear that there are becoming more animal advocates in China.
