Vee..remember the guy who advertised on Craigslist for "Canine Midwife"..and I asked the ad...? He lost his last bitch during whelping and was scared to death. I enjoyed it...all went well and it is so easy when it is someone else dog..I am stressed with my own.
I agree with you,I went and whelped a litter for a friend (maltese) It went well and I was not stressed at all she had 4 pups had to pull a couple for they all came face up (never experianced that with dogs).Then I had my own litter about 2 weeks later what a difference when it is your own it is more stressful! |
