hello, im a newbie. am happy that ive found this great forum for all the advice im gonna need.
im getting my first 8wk old little darling tomorrow and upon reading some of the threads here i thought some of you more experianced puppy owners could advise me. i am planning to crate train as both myself and my dh work. i have bought a 30x50 metal crate so she,d have plenty room and it would be like her own space. i have put her bed at one side and was going to pup newspaper down at the other side for her to learn to go wee wee there , so when we,re at work she is able to go to the toilet there. i dont want to give her run of the house or even a room when she,s unattended but i have read that you should,nt teach her to eliminate in her den. so was wondering what was the best thing to do. any advice would be gratefully received. thanks
