I do think it's good that yorkies are a high price - as people would buy them for novelty sake (so cute, like a stuffed animal) and then the reality of owning a dog kicks in and they don't treat them right (just my opinion)

I also spent my $1250, no intention of breeding or showing, and worth every penny!!! And I got pet insurance so if big things happen, it's covered.

so all in all, I am glad they are as pricey as they are so people really have to want them to get them ( in most - not all cases).
