When pups get it soon after whelping seldom do they show signs of irritation because they never knew their ears to feel any different so when it goes on for some time it can cause serious damage to inner ear and hearing.
Sometimes the mites are far down in canal and you cannot see the telltale reddish stain in ears.
Yorkies or all pups with human like hair seem to fair the worst I think pests like it better or something! |
