One thing you asked, can they have silky with cottony underneath. I noticed that as Jake's hair grew and his puppy coat started growing out, his new hair was silky, but he did have a bit of a cottony coat underneath. Once all his puppy hair grew out, he's completely silky. Hope that makes sense.
